I tried to read your Dads pages last P.M. when I read the new pages of Heart to Heart, I know now why I could not find your Dads , read them tonight and I loved them. Hi again Delores I just had to leave another messege to say that each time i visit your wesite i get so glued to reading family and my cousins that i just cant get enough,Im a slow reader but i am absorbing and still learning,I keep remembering things from my younger years,I use to visit your dad at his shoe repair shop on michigan ave when i got out of school which was only a couple blocks from his shop,He always gave me a big smile every time i seen him and i remember loving the smell of the leather in the store,Great memories for me and i will always remember him and your mom,Great people,God Bless Mick

This is a lovely new additional page. I have some of the same memories, so I guess Mamaw and Papaw wanted to carry on a tradition with all the grandchildren. I also enjoyed helping Mamaw with the churning of the milk and drawing water from her well on the back porch area. Also enjoyed turning the grindstone for Papaw. Joy told me about the trick of you girls putting the rose petals on your nails. She told me about her and Aunt Wilda walking to the A&P from Cowan to Whitesburg. Love,Gwenda
